Partnership with Swedish School of Textiles

TMAS recently teamed up with textile engineers at the Swedish School of Textiles. The partnership means that students carry out assignments for the TMAS member companies. In return the association is co-financing a trip to ITMA in Milan for 30 students.

It is important for all our members to secure access to relevant competences in the future. This is a true win-win partnership as the students get a better understanding of the industry and business, they get the opportunity to visit ITMA and we get a network of potential future employees as well as market studies. ITMA is the “olympics” of exhibitions for textile machinery and components globally, and if feels natural that we introduce it to the students, says Mikael Äremann, president of TMAS and IRO AB. Of course, we also hope to get a better insight into the research going on at the university he concludes.
